ADNOC to expand LNG Deals in Southeast Asia with inaugurating of Sales and Marketing Office in (Beijing)

The UAE’s oil and gas sector has witnessed significant expansion in recent years. Through the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), further investments are planned to develop activities across all sectors related to the oil and gas, petrochemicals, transportation, and services industries.
Established in 1971, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is the state-owned oil company operating in all aspects of oil and gas production and marketing. Since then, ADNOC has expanded into several related sectors, such as maritime transportation, chemical industries, and petrochemicals. The company is headquartered in Abu Dhabi and is overseen by the UAE Supreme Petroleum Council, chaired by the President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan while its CEO is Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
The UAE is seeking to open distant markets for its oil and gas exports with neighboring countries, particularly China, which is a key market for UAE energy exports.
During ADNOC – CEO Sultan Al Jaber’s recent visit to China, three LNG sales deals were signed with Chinese companies. To support this initiative, Abu Dhabi announced on April 18 the opening of a sales and marketing office in the Chinese capital, Beijing. This office will be responsible for strengthening long-term commercial relationships between ADNOC and its customers and partners in the People’s Republic of China.
Dr. Sultan Al Jaber said, “We are confident that the opening of this office and the signing of the LNG supply agreements represent important steps that will contribute to strengthening cooperation with our Chinese partners and will provide new opportunities to maximize benefits across various aspects and areas of the energy sector value chain.”
